Employees in our Miami and Colombia offices teamed up with the Hassenfeld Family Foundation to help children in La Guajira, Colombia, a desert region that faces extreme poverty and malnutrition.
We partnered with Proyecto Guajira, an organization dedicated to preventing malnutrition through assistance, education and development, to make a major impact for more than 600 children and families in this region.
Hasbro employees traveled to four remote villages to deliver meals to families and distribute toys and games to children. By donating product, Team Hasbro introduced children to our brands like MY LITTLE PONY and TRANSFORMERS.
This was a truly impactful, overwhelming and rewarding experience for the Team Hasbro volunteers.

Hasbro, Inc., through its BE FEARLESS BE KIND philanthropic initiative, matched $100,000 of the funds raised, to ensure all four playgrounds could become a reality. In 2018, Peaceful Hearts Playgrounds opened in Friendswood, Texas, San Juan Puerto Rico and Islamorada, Florida. One more playground will be built in wildfire-impacted Paradise, California.

For more than 20 years, Hasbro has partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to increase their impact across the nation and empower parents with the ability to give their children a gift during the holidays.
The mission of Toys for Tots is to bring joy and a message of hope to children in need through the collection and distribution of toys during the holiday season. For every toy or game donated to Toys for Tots across the country in 2018, Hasbro matched it with another toy or game, up to one million gifts.
Our combined effort helped double the impact of community donations during the holiday season and inspired kindness in individuals knowing that one donation to their local Toys for Tots unit provided two gifts for children in need.
The campaign was a huge success, bringing joy to more than 235,000 children during the 2018 holiday season.
